It’s WUP-RUP Time!

How are you going to end 2018? How you choose to finish this year will have drastic consequences on the future of your goals, business, and legacy. Over 25+ years of entrepreneurship led by careful planning, The Mullers have noticed that when the calendar turns to December, it’s officially WUP-RUP time!

Wait, what in the world is WUP-RUP???

It simply stands for one of the two things you MUST do to make 2019 the best year yet.

You have two choices: You can Wrap Up OR Ramp Up

One finishes the current chapter, while one builds momentum for the next.

Wrap up: Finish those tasks and bigger goals. Believe or not, leaving a goal to be accomplished for next year, even if you’re pressed for time, could be one of the WORST things you can do! Why? Not only do you not make progress, but it’s like telling yourself it’s ok not to finish things and accomplish goals! Take a look at your goals and your calendar. You have 30 days to take action and make it happen!

Ramp up: Start getting that 2019 momentum going in these last 30 days! Ramping up means putting the pieces in place to truly blow the doors of your 2019 goals! Is there a skill you need to learn? Start looking up courses and make a decision on one you’ll study! Always been dreaming of a special vacation? Start lining up reservations, sites to see, things to do, and the money those things will take!

The WUP-RUP Season has always been a highly impactful time of the year for The Mullers. It’s how they decide what to finish, what to get started, and how to spend the next 365+ days.

Remember, the two differences between successful and unsuccessful people are:

  1. The things they think about
  2. How they spend their time

How will you choose to spend December? By Wrapping Up or Ramping Up.

P.S. Since we like options, there’s even a third part to this season you can break out, BUT ONLY  on special occasions.

There have been years where David and Alisa knew they weren’t going to see their families very much in the upcoming calendar.

In those cases, they’ll break out the special combination of Rest Up and Love Up.

However you choose to spend this season, we all hope it’s one of great insight and motivation.

YOU GOT THIS!

Hello there! It’s Gatlin, a P2K Tribe Member.

Today, I want to share a few amazing qualities the Mullers have. This way, you’ll know for sure if they’re the coaches or mentors for you!

Systematic – If it’s one thing David loves, it’s a good system! He’s helped me realize how crucial the framework of your life and business are. You can have all the tools and talent in the world, but leave out a great system for guidance and you’re kinda out of luck. Just think to yourself: Ever seen a head coach without a playbook? My point exactly!

Compassionate – David and Alisa are two of the biggest hearted people I’ve ever met. But it’s easy to say that on the surface. What I’ve been lucky enough to see under their tutelage is grace under fire. They openly share their own tough moments while they’re happening, which really gives them a good glass to look through when it comes to solving my issues. Even though it’s their job as mentors to be firm, it’s always with a touch of understanding and care. I truly appreciate this, maybe more so than any characteristic they bring to the table.

Competitive – With their compassion comes a whole lotta drive to win! I bet you can imagine it with Alisa’s gymnastics background. Truth is, I’m not sure who really enjoys winning more. It’s just insanely cool to see two people so on fire to make sure they “beat” the things holding them and their tribe members back. The passion that gets brought to turning goals into achievements and breaking down physical, emotional, spiritual walls is simply awesome!

Leading – Being leaders of leaders is something David and Alisa view as vital. They’ll guide their teams with precision and experience, but will also climb into battle with them when necessary! That’s why I love these two. It’s not only that they’ll tell you what to do, but they’ll relate their experience and even give you the one-on-one conversations you need to hear.

Forward-focused – Leaving a legacy you can be proud of is one of the most noted parts of their entire system. We set goals that’ll lead us to the people we want to be. So many things the Mullers and I talk about are far off, but the way they help you keep your goals top of mind is nothing short of incredible.

I could write many, many more things I like about David and Alisa, but I assume you don’t want reading material for the next few weeks ;)

I’ll just end by saying this: If you’ve ever felt bad after “failing”, don’t. You’re more than enough to change yourself and change the world. You’re as good (or bad) as you tell yourself. Belief in yourself and what you’re doing is vital to a good life. Go chase yours!

The Mullers believe it’s vital to continue to grow and learn.

They also believe goals are easier to turn into achievements when you have the help of someone talented and passionate in the area of life you’re trying to improve.

It’s for these reasons and more that Alisa has deployed the help of her friend and Black Hills Gymnastics coach Stefanie Odenbrett to reach a BIG goal.

As part of the recent Accountability Group, Alisa set the following goal. The goal is written out how they ask everyone to write their goals. Maybe you’ve heard of SMART goals. Well, here’s Alisa’s.

1 – S.M.A.R.T. Goal written

Specific – I will release 30 lbs
Measurable – This will be completed within 16 weeks
Achievable – The 30 lbs fits within a 2 – 4 lb week weight loss goal which is healthy and realistic
Results – This goal being achieved will meet the result of fitting into a bikini and in ALL of my clothes
Timely – 16 weeks is the timeline

My smart goal in a sentence.

I will release 30 lbs in 16 weeks to fit in ALL of my clothes as well as a bikini.

2 – Tools I will be using
Isagenix for my nutrition.
Work Out Training by Stefanie.

3 – Measurement tools I will be using
Scale – once a week
Tape Measure – once a week
Body Fat – once a month

This is also an awesome growth opportunity for Stefanie, who’s working towards her National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer Certification. Stefanie is also in the recently-started Accountability Group to make her dream of being a Certified Personal Trainer a reality! There are many boxes to check, forms to fill, and classes to take. Thanks to the Muller’s framework and her own awesome work ethic, she’s well on her way to crossing all these actions items off her to-do list!

Stefanie has done an incredible job of breaking down her goals into manageable action steps with blocks of time set aside on her calendar to finish them all. She was the first person Alisa thought of when she wanted to pursue this awesome transformation.

“I’ve known Stef for years and have always loved her no excuses coaching style. Seeing that translate into the personal training arena has been a blast! And she really kicks my butt!

It’s all worth it though, as Alisa is seeing amazing results already!

After just one week of working with Stefanie, Alisa had the following to share.”I’m Down 7 lbs and have lost 15.5 inches thanks to staying on my nutrition plan, Isagenix, and working out 5 days for the week with the guidance of Stefanie.”

What will these two incredible ladies accomplish next? That’s up for them to decide. We do know this, however. They have the tools and mindset to tackle any obstacle and turn ANY goal into an accomplishment once and for all.

I Cross My Heart

Our love is unconditional
We knew it from the start
I can see it in your eyes
You can feel it from my heart

From here on after
Let’s stay the way we are right now
And share all the love and laughter
That a lifetime will allow.

I cross my heart
And promise to
Give all I’ve got to give
To make all your dreams come true

In all the world
You’ll never find
A love as true as mine

You will always be the miracle
That makes my life complete
And as long as there’s a breath in me
I’ll make yours just as sweet

As we look into the future
It’s as far as we can see
So let’s make each tomorrow
Be the best that it can be

I cross my heart

And promise to

Give all

Here are David & Alisa’s ten quick tips that you use in your lifestyle right away to start living even more fit and healthy

TIP #1 – Water, Water, Water

Did you know that many times when you feel hungry, you’re really just dehydrated? Try reaching for a glass or two of water before reaching for a snack. Not only will you not be taking in more unnecessary calories, you’ll be replenishing your entire body with the good stuff it needs! You can add a little flavor if you want, as long as it doesn’t add many calories. (Success Habit #2 – Your Lifestyle)

TIP #2 – Consistency is Key

Like any goal, consistency is key! Your healthy lifestyle will become better and more rewarding when you stick to it. We all know we could do better at being consistent with our goals. Staying on a consistent action plan is just as important as investing in the right foods and equipment. Consistency is the “secret sauce” to being the very best in anything you do well. (Success Habit #3 – Your Skills)

TIP #3 – Take Your Own Journey

“Look to others for encouragement and advice; look within yourself for what’s right.” It’s perfectly fine to look at someone who has the healthy lifestyle and body you want for inspiration. However it’s equally important that you know where you are, where you can start, and what you can handle. Going “0 to 60” and working out four hours a day like your bodybuilding buddy MOST LIKELY won’t work for you without discouragement, so don’t set yourself up for it. Break it down into steps YOU can take! (Success Habit #4 – Your People)

TIP #4 – Eat Lots of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables

Greens and fruits are a natural way to get your body back in gear while feeding it all the good nutrients it needs. Check with your mentor in this area of your life to help decide which fruits and veggies are best to support your personal goals. (Success Habit #2 – Your Lifestyle)

TIP #5 – Partner Up for Accountability

It’s always easier and more fun creating and establishing a healthy lifestyle with a friend or loved one. Just make sure you’re keeping each other on track, ESPECIALLY with the positive encouragement. We all have doubts in our heads that can seem true and louder than the good things about us. An accountability partner helps silence those doubts and keeps you moving forward! (Success Habit #4 – Your People)

TIP #6 – Develop a Health Consciousness in your Household

What good is it for you to be all positive and motivated if those around you aren’t happy for you and taking part in your healthy lifestyle? As you start, it’s important to let your tribe of closest people know what your goals are and and where you’ll need help. This way, the general attitude towards this new endeavor will be greeted with joy and assistance rather then resistance. (Success Habit #4 – Your People & #5 – Pay it Forward)

TIP #7 – Make a Game of it

Whether it’s board games, sports or a P2K Habit Tracker, we’ve always loved making a game out of things. It’s a fun way to measure progress. There’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition, even if it’s against your previous self! Treat your weight loss and fitness goals as stats for more confidence or happiness. Level-up these characteristics much like you would a character in a game. Remember to have fun with it all! (Success Habit #3 – Your Skill Set)

TIP #8 – Have SMART Goals

That which gets measured, gets improved. I’m sure you’ve heard this quote or something similar. The point is; it’s very difficult to improve health or lose weight without any goals, structures, and tracking.

Use SMART goals are those that are:

Specific
Measurable
Achievable
Relevant
Time Sensitive

(Success Habit #3 – Your Skills Set)

TIP #9 – Self Discipline & Verbal Affirmations

We’ve talked about having a close accountability partner and your family be on board and encouraging, and it’s important we make sure to tell you this: Be your own best friend and cheerleader. It’s up to you to set the goals, take the steps, and pick yourself back up; even when you don’t feel like it. This journey will be so rewarding and you’ll become a stronger, healthier, more disciplined person through it. (Success Habit #1 Personal Growth)

TIP #10 – Streeeeeetch

Stretch your body and your mind. Keep them activated and in motion. Allow them time to rest properly and recover, and then stretch some more. (Success Habit #2 – Your Lifestyle & #3 Your Skill Set)
